Anurag is a Berlin-based payments strategist with experience advising payment system regulators, operators, banks and fintechs across Europe, North America, the GCC, Africa and Asia.
His work spans real-time payments, digital and open banking, card payments, CBDCs and digital money, offline payments, system benchmarking and strategic due diligence. He has contributed to industry working groups with the U.S. Faster Payments Council, Euro Banking Association and Digital Euro Association, including chairing working groups on tokenized deposits and the impact of MiCA on stablecoins. Anurag has also contributed to the World Bank's Project FASTT on instant payments and serves as an advisor to fintech startups.
Prior to KoreFusion, he held roles at Lipis Advisors, C2FO and KredX. He holds an interdisciplinary management degree from HTW Berlin, an MBA in International Business from Symbiosis International University and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
