Based in São Paulo and originally from New York, Isaac has 20 years of experience across consulting, financial services, fintech, and international development, and has lived and worked in more than a dozen countries.
He began his career at the World Bank and later worked in strategy consulting at Bain. Isaac also co-founded and served as CEO of Teddy, an insurtech focused on benefits and insurance for independent workers in Brazil.
His experience combines strategy, research, partnerships, and entrepreneurship, with a particular understanding of the Brazilian and broader Latin American markets. Isaac holds an MBA from INSEAD, a B.A. in International Development from McGill University, and completed economic development studies at the University of Cape Town. He also hosts the podcast “Brazil (is not) for Beginners”, focused on doing business in Brazil.
