Based between Mexico City and Boston, Zaira brings more than a decade of experience across financial services, capital markets, corporate finance and investment, with a career spanning Investor Relations, M&A, venture capital, and Responsible Investment and Sustainable Finance.
She has held roles at leading Mexican financial institutions and public companies, working at the intersection of strategy, investment and capital markets, including evaluating and executing M&A and venture-capital investments across Mexico and international markets, advising investment committees and senior executives, supporting corporate funding and capital strategies, and engaging with institutional investors, analysts, rating agencies, regulators and other capital-market stakeholders.
She also brings deep expertise in Responsible Investment and Sustainable Finance, including the integration of ESG considerations across asset classes and the structuring and market positioning of sustainable debt instruments, with broader experience spanning transaction advisory, investment valuation, stakeholder engagement and investment strategy.
Zaira holds an MBA from Hult International Business School in Boston and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
